Each year, thousands of children rely on VOA-GNY for their school supplies and we rely on you—individuals, corporate partners, foundations, and community organizations—to make Operation Backpack® possible.
In 2023, through a combination of raised contributions, in-kind giving, and public funding, we equipped 19,000 children experiencing homelessness with a new backpack and the school supplies they needed. We couldn’t have done it without our partners and sponsors!
Over the past two decades, thousands of corporate and other community organizations have played a part in its success and all that we are doing to end homelessness in the Greater New York area.
In response to this year’s record level of need, we ask that you be as generous as you can—through sponsorships, in-kind donations, and fundraising—to help ensure these students can thrive in school and beyond.
