Action Teams

Volunteers of America has teamed up with the Major League Baseball Players Association and the New York Mets to help train a new generation of volunteers. Three Greater New York Action Teams are working with Carlos Del Gado and Brian Schneider of the Mets to promote teen volunteering. These high schoolers plan volunteer projects and, working with Volunteers of America and the Mets, recruit their schoolmates, friends and families to get involved.
